<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a hydrate, which do not evaporate a liquid guest substance separated into two layers after decomposition and use a water-repellent material for increasing a contact area of the liquid guest substance with water. <P>SOLUTION: A tank 14 is charged with water 12, a water-repellent material 10 is immersed under a water surface 12w by a fastening device 13, the liquid guest substance 11 is poured into the tank 14, adhered to the water-repellent material 10 and the tank 14 is cooled in the state to form a clathrate hydrate 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
