<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and ecological computer environment with improved operativity and convenience. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, a reader/writer 3 for reading an identification medium 2 and a personal computer 4 are connected. When the reader/writer 3 detects the identification medium 2, the personal computer 4 is started by computer power supply control 5, and specific information of the identification medium 2 is subjected to authentication control 8. The reader/writer 3 continues transmitting a card detection telegram message 11 to software 7 during detection of the identification medium 2, and thereby, it notifies the detection information of the identification medium 2 to the software 7. When the card detection telegram message 11 has not transmitted or when the specific information of the identification medium 2 does not match a certification ID storage unit 9, the system is shifted to a power-saving mode by software power supply control 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
