<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube with a liquid lubrication type bearing and a liquid cooling type anode target assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray tube includes the liquid lubrication type bearing assemblies 70, 150, 286 and the liquid cooling type anode target 52. The anode target 52 and the bearing assemblies 70, 150, 286 increase liquid lubricating and cooling amounts to be fit for application of larger output, higher temperature and larger load. The tube includes a ferrofluidic seal coupled to an outer surface of a second end of a bearing assembly housing to seal the bearing assembly housing rotatable in a vacuum chamber, an opening extending through a fixed shaft, a gap formed between an outer surface of the fixed shaft and an inner surface of the bearing assembly housing, and a flow passage through which liquid coolant and lubricant are circulated to pass through the opening, the gap and the bearing assemblies. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
