PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent troublesomeness from being given to a player by adopting configuration enabling the player to have expectation for a probability variable state even when changing a performance mode of probability variation-suggesting mode performance triggered by the execution of a symbol variable game based on a specific variation pattern. SOLUTION: During each special mode in progress, a shift from the special mode in progress to another special mode can be made triggered by the execution of the symbol variable game with the specific variation pattern. In the case of going through the symbol variable game with the specific variation pattern, development such as Figure 10(c)→Figure 10(a)→Figure 10(f) is made for instance. The appearance of performance of the same mode as the probability variable mode gives the player excitement and enjoyment equal to those of the probability variable mode in progress, and the player can have expectation for whether a shift to the probability variable state is made without going through a jackpot and whether a game state is a probability variable state.
