PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the leveling of stress acting on a newly-built foundation from an existing pile. SOLUTION: The existing structure supported by the existing pipe 12 is removed except for the existing pile 12 and an existing foundation slab 13 which is arranged on the existing pile 12; a back-filling material 2 made of sand, gravel, crushed stones, an improvement body, etc. is laid on the remaining existing foundation slab 13; a newly-built mat slab 3 of a foundation of a newly-built structure 10 is arranged on the back-filling material 2; and the newly-built structure 10 is constructed.
