DOOR COURTESY SWITCH ABNORMALITY DETECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD

A door courtesy switch abnormality detection apparatus for an on-vehicle system which forms a door-unlocked state on the basis of a wireless signal transmitted from an electronic key. The apparatus is characterized by generating information expressing abnormality of a door courtesy switch when an antenna having a detection area in the vehicle interior detects the presence of the electronic key in the vehicle interior in a situation when door-unlocking operation is already detected and the on/off of the door courtesy switch is not inverted yet.
