PURPOSE: A height adjusting type basketball goalpost is provided, which can control the height of the basketball goalpost according to the height of the ring established in the back board. CONSTITUTION: A height adjusting type basketball goalpost comprises: a fixing device(10) equipped with a fixed axis and lower part holder; a top body(20) in which a guidance axis is installed inside the upper bar projected from the upper part of the fixing device; a height controlling device controlling the installation height of the back board; and a post(30) interlinking the back board support stand to the height adjuster.
