<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater capable of reducing standby electricity of a heat source unit, and detecting a water inlet temperature and a water supply temperature by the same detecting means. <P>SOLUTION: This storage type water heater includes a heating control means for controlling a heating means for heating and boiling up the water in a storage tank by a heat pump cycle, and a power supply means for switching on/off the power supply to the heating control means. The power source of the heating means is switched off in stopping the boiling-up, the power supply means is switched on in calculating peak shift or periodically to drive a boiling-up pump for a specific period and the water inlet temperature and the water supply temperature are detected by the water inlet temperature detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
