<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display printable print data and unprintable print data which occur in accordance with the communicating state of an information processor in an identifiable way by the display part of a printer for operating a print instruction when the print data are stored in the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: In a printing system, the information processor 200, a bibliographic information server 600 for storing bibliographic information data 215 and 216 and the printer 300 are communicable with one another. The bibliographic information data include a log-in user name, information specifying the information processor, information specifying the print data, and printing acceptance/rejection information. The printing acceptance/rejection information is obtained by determining whether communication can be performed between the bibliographic information server and the information processor. A list of print data including the print acceptance/rejection information relating to the log-in user name is generated in response to a request from the printer, and transmitted to the printer.
