<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle drive system, which reduces gear-shift shock without deteriorating fuel efficiency in a vehicle system including a motor generator and an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for the vehicle drive system includes: a battery; an engine; a motor generator; transmission; and a clutch. In gear shifting, when charging status information (SCO) showing the charging status of a battery is equal to or less than a lower limit value of a battery management range equivalent to the charging/discharging critical range of the battery, the power running operation of the motor generator is prohibited, and when the charging/discharging status information exceeds an upper limit value of the battery management range, the power regeneration of the motor generator is prohibited. When the SOC is within the battery management range, the motor generator is used for gear shifting, and when the SOC is beyond the battery management range, the engine is used for gear shifting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
