PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refrain a liquid from reaching an atmospheric releasing valve in a liquid jet apparatus equipped with a cap member to which the atmospheric releasing valve is connected. SOLUTION: The liquid jet apparatus is equipped with a liquid penetration suppressing means 70 which has both a buffer space 72 that is connected to inlets 14a of gas channels 14 and 50 to which the atmospheric releasing valve 30 is connected and suppresses penetration of the liquid into the gas channels 14 and 50, and an opening 71 that connects with the buffer space 72 and is formed vertically downward in a storage region R.
