<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently acquire data about the waiting hours or the like of service recipients at a service providing facility. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 1 sets a predetermined medical examination department code (S502) if there is a medical examination department yet to be processed (Y at S501). The information processing apparatus extracts the record of the corresponding medical examination department code from work data 15A for a certain patient on the day of a medical examination (S503), and searches for events from reception to accounting (S504). Next, the information processing apparatus searches for the event immediately before the start of the medical examination (S505), and searches for the event immediately before an accounting calculation (S506). The apparatus then calculates waiting hours for the medical examination (S507), and calculates the time of the medical examination (S508). If a setting for counting revisits to the same branch is not made (N at S510), the apparatus returns to S501. If there is no medical examination department yet to be processed (N at S501), the apparatus calculates waiting hours for the accounting (S511), and calculates the time that the patient stayed in the hospital (S512).
