摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein many wave-activated power generation devices using an air flow for turning fans to generate power have poor efficiency, and a floating type power generation device using a phase difference between two objects has no mechanism for protecting the device from wave power and so it may be broken in a bad weather. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The wave power generation device of a double cylinder flotation type includes a vertically-long outside float 1 of a doughnut type and a cylindrical inside float 2 arranged in the inside space of the outside float. Herein, a rack of the inside float and a pinion gear of the outside float are used for changing an upward and downward motion difference due to an inertial force difference into rotary motion to operate a generator to efficiently generate power. A control mechanism for sea water to be introduced into the inside space is provided for controlling the motion of the inside float. Besides, the inside float is fixed and submerged into the sea in a bad weather such as typhoon or the like so that it is protected from the uneven sea surface to prevent the breakage of the device.
