<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite membrane having excellent gas-barrier property while having heat-resistance and flexibility, a manufacturing method for the composite membrane, and a hose using the composite membrane as an inner layer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The composite membrane is characterized in that a nylon is distributed into a clay thin membrane in which layers of clay particles are laminated and oriented and an amide bond of the nylon partially has a structure represented by formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 1C-8C alkyl group which may be substituted, R<SP>2</SP>is a 1C-4C alkanediyl group which may be substituted and n is an integer of 0-10).
