<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet apparatus which can surely wipe a liquid adhering to a liquid jet head, and moreover which can smoothly wipe the liquid by preventing an excessive wear of a wiper. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Regulation members 33 and 33 are formed on both sides where a jet surface F along a subscan direction Y of a recording head 2 is held in between. It is enough for the regulation members 33 and 33 to have cam grooves 35, 35 having courses extended along the main scan direction X of the recording head 2 and bent in a perpendicular direction Z, formed in plate-like members 34, 34 along a main scan direction X. Engagement members 38 and 38 which respectively contact to (engage with) the cam grooves 35 and 35 of the regulation members 33 and 33 are formed to both end parts of a wiper holder 37.
