<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a deterioration in the performance of a dust collector by suppressing backlash of a dust collection electrode (40), the dust collector including a charging part charging dust in air and a dust collection part collecting the charged dust. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The dust collection part is provided with the dust collection electrode (40) formed by combining a plurality of first plate-like members (42) with a plurality of second plate-like members (43). A plurality of slits (45a, 45b) are formed on the first and second plate-like members (42, 43), and the slits (45a, 45b) of both plate-like members (42, 43) are fit to each other to form the dust collection electrode (40) in a lattice-like constitution. The height of the first plate-like members (42) is set higher than that of the second plate-like members (43), while the depth of the first slit (45a) of the first plate-like members (42) is set shallower than the that of the second slit (45b) of the second plate-like members (43).
