PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create images which give the impression to a driver so that the driver is viewing an actual scene as it is, and to suppress the driver's sickness (simulator sickness) resulting from viewing the images. SOLUTION: In a driving simulator, when a simulation scene image 110 is displayed together with sickness suppressing images 112, 116, 118 on a screen 28, the sickness suppressing images 112, 116, 118 are displayed in such a manner as moving reversely to the movement of the simulation scene image 110 corresponding to the driver's operation of a controller.
