PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the vibration of a boring bar when cutting with a blade of a cutting tool which rotates together with the rotation of the spindle of a machine tool. SOLUTION: The cutting tool (A) includes the boring bar 2 having a connection 1 connecting with the spindle of the machine tool at a terminal end and the holding means 4 of the blade 3 provided at the tip of the boring bar. A cylindrical vibration restraining means 6 made of highly elastic carbon fiber is provided outside the boring bar to effectively inhibit the vibration occurring on the boring bar.
