METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER, TONER, SCREENING DEVICE FOR TONER PRODUCTION, AND METHOD OF RECYCLING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrophotographic toner capable of forming a high quality image with little toner aggregation. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an electrophotographic toner includes steps of: manufacturing a coarse toner containing at least a binder resin and a coloring agent; and screening the coarse toner with a screen device. The screen device 1 in the screening step has two-staged top and bottom screens. The top screen 2 having an opening of from 26 to 43μm has a structure for screening at 50°C or lower by ultrasonic vibration and mechanical vibration. The bottom screen 3 having an opening of from 54 to 150μm has a structure for screening at 35°C or lower by mechanical vibration. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
