A fuel cell pressure adjusting valve (4) arranged in a fuel container (32) of a fuel cell and comprising an opening/closing part which opens to introduce air from outside the fuel container to the inside when the internal pressure of the fuel container is at a specified negative pressure state with respect to the atmospheric pressure; also a fuel cell (1) which uses the valve. Recently, use of a fuel cell as a power source for a mobile electronic device has been studied. Promise is seen in supplying liquid fuel from a fuel container provided with the above valve to a fuel cell by means of a pump (34), however, the valve has a problem in that the opening/closing part sticks when in contact with the liquid fuel, significantly lowering the internal pressure of the fuel container. This is solved by providing at least the contact portion of the opening/closing part with a sticking suppressing means for suppressing sticking.
