<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pet food containing high unsaturated fatty acid-containing oil and fat, and having high preservation stability and palatability. <P>SOLUTION: The pet food contains the following ingredients (A), (B), and (C): (A) 6-50 mass% of oil and fat which has 20 mass% or more of unsaturated fatty acid containing at least two double bonds, in fatty acid composing oil and fat, (B) 0.0005-1 mass%, in terms of mineral content, of mineral ingredient selected from iron, an iron compound, copper, and a copper compound, in total, and (C) 0.7 mass% or more of citric acid and/or its salt, in total, in terms of citric acid content, and a pH of 3.5-7.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
