<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform communication test to be performed between communication equipment, in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A communication test program is uploaded to a memory 33 of a mobile phone 30 which can perform remote operation of a mobile phone 40 in advance from an external device 20. Then, communication between the portable telephone 30 and the portable telephone 40 is tested while the mobile phone 30 is made to operate the mobile phone 40 by allowing a control circuit 34 of the mobile phone 30 to perform the communication test program.
