<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet which is excellent in black color feeling and image sharpness. <P>SOLUTION: The optical sheet is used on a surface of a display element and includes a functional layer on at least one surface of a transparent substrate and a diffusion component on an outermost surface of and/or in the functional layer. The optical sheet satisfies inequality (I): 0.16<R/V<0.71 (I), wherein R is diffusion regular reflection intensity, i.e., intensity in a diffusion regular reflection direction and V is total sum of diffusion reflection intensity measured for each degree between -θ° and +θ° toward the diffusion regular reflection direction when the optical sheet is irradiated with visible rays. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
