PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and inexpensive projector-type vehicle headlamp by reducing a weight of a bracket for turnably supporting a movable shade. SOLUTION: The vehicle headlamp 10 includes: a light source 23a disposed behind a rear-side focal point F of a projection lens 11; a reflector 25 for forwardly reflecting direct light from the light source 23a to converge toward an optical axis Ax; a movable shade 30 for shielding a part of the reflected light from the reflector 25 to form a cutoff line of a light distribution pattern; and a bracket 32 disposed between the projection lens 11 and the light source 23a for turnably supporting the movable shade 30. The bracket 32 is formed from a metal plate member and includes an opening portion 32a for forwardly passing a part of the reflected light from the reflector 25 along the optical axis Ax. A stationary shade 33 for covering a gap formed between the movable shade 30 attached to the opening portion 32a and an opening edge is provided on the opening portion 32a.
