<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of working material with high-energy radiation so as to expand a heat-affected zone without damaging a working result. <P>SOLUTION: A polymer matrix (1) is irradiated with high-energy radiation, in particular with a laser beam (9), wherein the radiation is focused onto a focal point (11) and the focal point (11)is adjusted such that the focal point (11) lies behind the surface (3) of the polymer matrix (1) facing the radiation, and material removal is brought about at the polymer matrix (1), and consequently a reaction space (13) is formed within the polymer matrix (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
