PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device which hardly produces positional gap when an electrode and a separator are laminated alternately, and which is manufactured by a roll-to-roll process. SOLUTION: This electrochemical device 10 is constituted of four or more sheets of electrodes 21, 22 which are laminated alternately through a separator 23 while a space between respective electrodes is filled with electrolyte, and the outer periphery of each electrode is covered by a sealing body. Respective electrodes are arranged so that polarity thereof is changed alternately along the laminating direction thereof, and projected pieces 21c, 22c are extended from positions of respective electrodes which are opposed obliquely on the peripheral rims of respective electrodes while the positions of the projected pieces are opposed in left and right between respective electrodes having different polarities, and the projected pieces of electrodes of the same polarity are matched mutually for connection. Upon manufacturing, the electrodes and the projected pieces 21c, 22c, 23a of the separator are connected by a connecting belt to supply them in the shape of a sheet respectively whereby the electrochemical device is manufactured by the roll-to-roll process.
