PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce odd pedal feeling for a driver when operating a brake pedal during the operation of an automatic brake. SOLUTION: Fluid pressure of a wheel cylinder is automatically controlled by controlling control valve and pump 17 interposed in a brake pipe 23 for connecting a master cylinder 10 and the wheel cylinder on a prescribed operation condition. When the driver depresses the brake pedal 22 during the operation of the automatic control, working fluid sucking amount per unit time from the master cylinder 10 by the pump 17 is corrected in an increasing direction according the depressing speed.
