PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components of a switch device. SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor 35 is installed on a base board 33. A holder 22 is relatively freely rotatable with respect to the base board 33 and rotates in linking with rotation of a side stand. On the holder 22, projections 22A and 22B are integrally arranged, and the projections 22A and 22B hold the side stand by holding an upper portion of the same. Also on the holder 22, a magnet holding portion to install a magnet is arranged. This invention is applicable for example to a switch device installed on the side stand of a two-wheeled vehicle.
