<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically change the setting of the environment of a radiographic system by reading information registered beforehand by connecting a portable plane detector to the power unit of the radiographic system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radiographic system includes an X-ray generation controller 13, an installation type plane detector 22a, an installation type plane detector 22b, an image processor 19, a portable plane detector 17 having a connector attachable and detachable to/from the radiographic system, a system controller 16 for controlling them, and an imaging condition management part 20 for preserving/managing an image condition for setting the devices corresponding to the type of the plane detector. Just by attaching and detaching the portable plane detector 17 to/from the radiographic system 1, the setting of the environment of the radiographic system 1 is changed corresponding to the type of the plane detector connected at present.
