PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved type curved ion guide including an ion guide which can transfer ions by high kinetic energy, and at the same time, can transfer ions having a plurality of masses, and further, can maintain an optimum ion transferring condition. SOLUTION: The ion guide includes a plurality of curved electrodes and an ion deflecting device. The electrodes are arranged in parallel with each other, and each electrode is arranged in parallel with its curved central axis, and further, the curved central axis extends along the circular arc of a circular portion which has a radius of curvature. The plurality of electrodes are radially spaced from the curved central axes, respectively, and further, define an opposed pair of the electrodes define a curved ion guide region disposed between the opposed pair of electrodes, in the peripheries of their curved central axes. The ion deflecting device may have a device for applying a DC electric field to at least two of the plurality of electrodes in a radial direction. Also, the ion deflecting device may have a pair of curved parallel ion deflecting electrodes.
