The magazine (100) has a test tape (104), and reel bodies (102, 103) for unused and used test tapes, respectively, where one of the reel bodies (103) is driven to forward the used test tape. A feed pawl (107) and an actuating lever (108) are provided as tape drives, where the lever is coupled to the reel bodies. The lever is arranged at a housing (101), and engages in a feeding element e.g. capstan or index wheel, via the feed pawl, such that the feed pawl is mechanically movable. The pawl and the lever include a ratchet that engages in steps or teeth formed in the reel bodies.
