Cooking hob for use on a heat source

The hob (1) has a horizontal support plate (3) including a lower side (15) turned towards a heat source, and an upper side (13) turned towards foodstuff. The upper side of the support plate transfers heat of the source to the lower side of the support plate. A cooking plate (21) is provided structurally separate from the support plate. The cooking plate is detachably inserted in a recess (9), which is provided in the support plate. The recess is defined by a circular vertical inner edge (11). A rubber piping (31) is made of glass fiber. An insulation layer (33) is made of vermiculite. The cooking plate is made of glass ceramics.
