<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive endless belt in which crack during use of a lone period of time is prevented by achieving both high rigidity and high flexibility, in particular, characteristics at high temperature and high humidity are improved, the conductive endless belt being a resin film belt used for various image forming apparatuses of a tandem system, an intermediate transfer system, and a tandem intermediate transfer system, and also to provide an image forming apparatus using the conductive endless belt. <P>SOLUTION: The conductive endless belt of the tandem system for transfer and conveyance is driven in a circle by a driving member to convey a recording medium, held by electrostatic attraction, to four kinds of image forming bodies, and successively transfers respective toner images to the recording medium. The conductive endless belt is constituted by adding carbon black to a base material made of a polymer alloy or polymer blend of a thermoplastic polyamide and an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin, or a base material made of a polymer alloy or polymer blend of either one of the above constituents and polyamide system thermoplastic elastomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
