<p>A wiper pivot enhancing an antitheft effect for a vehicle. In the wiper pivot (12), an installation section (26) of a theft prevention sleeve (24) is installed on a pivot holder (22). This causes a flange-like section (30) of the theft prevention sleeve (24) to face, inside a rear window (54) of a rear boor (42), a pivot hole (56), and also causes an invasion prevention wall (32) to rise from the flange-like section (30) toward the tip side of a pivot shaft (14), positioning the invasion prevention wall (32) close to the pivot hole (56). As a consequence, even if a thief tries to insert an unlocking member (58) such as a wire from the pivot hole (56) toward a locking device to unlock the locking device (44), the invasion of the unlocking member (58) is blocked by the invasion prevention wall (32). The wiper pivot (12) can enhance an antitheft effect for a vehicle (40).</p> |
