<p>The device (2) has a light source (9) and a detector (8) i.e. camera, arranged at a vehicle, where the detector detects reflection image of a traveling base (4). The reflection image is produced by light beams of the light source. A computing unit (7) determines position changes of the vehicle based on successive reflection images of the traveling base. A distance measuring device determines distance between the detector and a region of the base detected by the detector, and comprises a laser light source (10). An independent claim is also included for a method for automatic position determination of a vehicle.</p> |
