The closing device (10) has a flap lock fixed on vehicle body, and a closing bracket (18) fastened at a flap. The closing bracket in an assembly position is adjustably held on a support part of the flap, and is fastened relative to a flap lock after adjustment. The holding arms (22,24) of the closing bracket are slidably held on a carrier part by the detent units, and the holding arms are assigned to the screw connections, with which the detent units are fixed after adjusting the closing bracket.
