The device has two exhaust gas turbochargers (12, 14) with compressors, which supply combustion air to turbocharger pressure pipelines (24, 38). Control units such as non-return valve (40) and bypass flap (44) are provided at the compressor side for blocking back flow of turbocharger air to one of the compressors, when the other compressor (12b) is supplied with the turbocharger air. A controllable bypass pipeline (42) connects a turbocharger pressure side of the former compressor with a suction side of the compressor (12b). The control units are arranged directly in the former compressor. |
