Cooking hob and method for manufacturing a hob

The hob has a lower support element (50), an upper support element, in which a cooking point is arranged, and a holding element (10) for detachably fixing the upper support element at the lower support element. The holding element is formed from elastic material and has an elastically movable holding region (12). The holding region is arranged in a pocket-like receiver (42) of the upper support element for fixing the upper support element at the lower support element. The holding region is moved out from the receiver for releasing the upper support element from the lower support element. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a hob.
