<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a power converter for driving a motor with a built-in motor control function in shipping without practically driving a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter 50 to be inspected includes a power converter circuit 60 for converting the power supplied from an external power source to a prescribed power and supplying it to the motor, and a control unit 52 for controlling the power converter circuit 60 based on a detection signal outputted from a motor sensor for detecting the operating state of the motor and a given control directing value. An inspection device for inspecting the power converter 50 is provided with a device 16 for entering the control directing value to the control unit, a device 18 for generating a simulation detection signal simulating a detection signal outputted from the motor sensor when the motor is driven at a prescribed motor rotational speed, a simulation power source 30 simulating the external power source, and an electric load device 40 constituted so as to be the same as an electric load of the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
