PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return and empty reserved seat, which a person reserved but didn't sit in actually, to an unreserved state to take a reservation for this seat again. SOLUTION: The reservation state of seats is changed from vacant to reserved seats when reservation ticket to are purchased. When a passenger gets on a corresponding train with the reservation ticket through an automatic ticket checking and collecting machine before the departure time of the train at a start station, the reservation condition is changed to getting-on; but if the departure time has passed, it is judged that the passenger didn't get on the train with the corresponding reservation ticket through an automatic ticket checking and collecting machine, and the reservation state is so changed that the seat can be reserved again, and it is set to the vacant state to take a reservation for the seat again. |
