The method involves coupling network nodes with coupled terminals by a bus with a transmission line and a receiving line in a chain arrangement, and providing frames defined according to specific networks. The frames are transferred over the bus in a preset sequence. A time interval between the frames transferred through the transmission line and the receiving line is adjusted depending on a specific scan rate of audio data by the coupled terminals. The frames are transferred through the transmission line and the receiving line within the time interval. An independent claim is also included for a device for transferring data over network nodes of a specific network.
