A bar-feed finger comprises a barrel 10, resilient jaws, formed by two slits 10A and an adaptor 11 screwed on to the barrel, which engages a tapered portion 10c, to alter the tension of the jaws. Holes 11c are provided in the adaptor so that by engaging a tool in these holes, and another tool in a slot 10A, relative rotation of the members 10, 11 is possible, to adjust the tension. The amount of adjustment is indicated by numbers stamped on portion 10d visible through a hole 11e in the adaptor. Semicircular pads 12 may be supplied, which are keyed to the jaws, and several sets of pads of different sizes and materials may be provided. |
