The device has a combustion chamber (2) equipped with a burner (3) and an air injection system (28). The burner consists of an injection lance and an air duct with an air distribution plate. The injection lance provides necessary pressure drop for achieving processing of residues. An air distribution system (20) is constructed to continuously discharge a material from a fluidized bed. The combustion chamber is equipped with an ash removing system. Centrally located air units are located in a lower part of the combustion chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing waste streams.
