PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for providing a message sending service are provided to recognize a phone number of web/WAP pages to send a message. CONSTITUTION: An analyzing unit(110) recognizes a phone number of a page by analyzing a page. A sending unit(130) sends a message using the recognized phone number. A recording unit(120) records/keeps one or more phone number patterns. The analyzing unit determines whether a character string patter matched with the phone number pattern exists in the page. If the character string pattern exists, the analyzing unit recognizes the character string pattern as the phone number.
