PURPOSE: A diesel oxidation catalyst and an exhaust system including the same are provided to enable stable purification of hydrocarbon as the hydrocarbon included in exhaust gas is collected at low temperature and the oxidation heat of the hydrocarbon activates oxidation catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A diesel oxidation catalyst comprises a first part(44) in which a hydrocarbon(HC) trap is coated and a second part(46) in which an oxidation catalyst is coated. The first part adsorbs or desorbs HC according to whether the fixed condition is satisfied. The second part has an oxidation reaction with desorbed HC so that sulfur adsorbed in an oxidation catalyst is desorbed by the heat of oxidation.
