PURPOSE: A system and a method for registration of fingerprint data, a system and a method of user authentication using fingerprint data are provided to protect the fingerprint information of an authentication target user by using only feature small number of fingerprints. CONSTITUTION: A registration fingerprint information generating unit(41) includes a matching unit, a designation unit and a designation unit, and generates registration fingerprint information for authenticating a user from plural kinds of reference fingerprint and the initial fingerprint information. A concealment information generating/registering unit(42) inserts false information into the generated authentication registration fingerprint information, and generates and registers the concealment information hiding the authentication registration fingerprint information.
