PURPOSE: A lens for a light emitting package is provided to prevent the glare of a light emitting diode(LED) and the generation of yellow band by forming an anti-reflective coating on the bottom spherical surface and the dome surface of the lens. CONSTITUTION: An LED chip(12) is loaded on a heat transfer unit(14). An encapsulant material(20) fills the upper side of the heat transfer unit and is sealed with silicon. A pair of wires(16) and terminals(18) are connected to the LED chip. An anti-reflective coating(54) is formed on the bottom spherical surface(50) and the dome surface(52) of the lens. A housing(24) is formed around the heat transfer unit and terminals. A lens(22) is mounted on the upper side of the housing. |
