PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to easily control the rotation speed of a fan motor by the variable voltage based on the variable resistance of a variable resistance part. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a variable resistance part(310), a control part(320) and a fan motor(330). The variable resistance part comprises a plurality of switching elements and resistance elements and the resistance value of the variable resistance part is varied depending on the on/off operation of the switching elements. At least a part of the resistance elements are parallely connected and connected to the switching elements, respectively. The controller controls the on/off operation of the switching elements. The fan motor operates by the variable voltage based on the variable resistance value and supplies the cool air to at least one of the refrigerator and the freezer. |
