METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SUMMER MODE OF AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A method of controlling the summer mode of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to cool the indoor space of a vehicle at a maximum air volume and at the lowest temperature by operating the summer mode for a given time and to change the summer mode to a normal or driver mode if the indoor temperature of the vehicle drops. CONSTITUTION: If starting the engine(S1), the temperature sensor, the photosensor and the timer in the controller of an air conditioner sense current indoor state of a vehicle and transfer the sensed state to the control part of the controller(S2). The transferred current state value is compared with the state value preset in the control part. If two values are equal, the air conditioner operates in the summer mode to automatically cool the indoor space of the vehicle.
