The invention relates to a device for electrochemical regeneration of oxidized iron-containing electrolyte and can be used in the plating industry to restore the worn-out parts of machines and mechanisms. The device includes a galvanic bath (4), wherein it is vertically placed an electrode unit (1), fixed into the body of the bath through a bracket (2) with a bolt (3); the electrode unit contains a perforated cylinder (5), a rod (8), mounted coaxially and connected to an electric current source, containing a central anode current lead (9) and a peripheral cathode current lead (12), and between the current leads there is an insulating layer (10); in the lower part the rod (8) is fixed with the help of guides (6) and bushes (7), and in the upper part it is fixed by means of a spring (15) with an eccentric device (16) actuated by a motor (17), placed on the bracket (2); to the rod (8) with the help of bushes (14) are horizontally fixed alternately mesh anodes (11), connected to the central current lead (9) and volume-porous flow cathodes (13), connected to the peripheral current lead (12) and made of a foam-metallic iron alloy with a thickness of 5à10 mm, with a coefficient of porosity of 0.90à0.95 and a specific reaction surface of 300à500 cm2/g, and the distance between the anodes (11) and cathodes (13) is equal to 5à10 cm.
